Question 1

How do retailers record a competitor observation?

Accepted Answer

A retailer chooses a saved competitor URL for a product, then enters the observed price and stock status. After submission, Rooksignal records the observation with a server-created timestamp.

Question 2

Where can retailers review recorded observations and changes?

Accepted Answer

Recorded observations and changes appear in the product's recorded change report and persisted history. Retailers can correct their persisted entries while the original values and recorded timestamp remain auditable.

Question 3

Does Rooksignal continuously monitor competitor sites?

Accepted Answer

No. Continuous or automated competitor monitoring is not currently available in this pilot. Retailers record observations manually from their saved competitor URLs.

Question 4

Does Rooksignal update storefront prices automatically?

Accepted Answer

No. Storefront prices are not updated automatically. Recommendations are advisory: the retailer reviews them and decides whether to act.
